AUGUST: Dark again for a meeting, we’re having a fun Bowling event on August 13th at Virgin River Casino. We’ve got a special for you too – $7.50 per per person for shoes and a game and, the Club is providing each lane team one Large Pizza. We’ve booked this event for Wednesday, August 13th at 3pm. SEPTEMBER: We’re back to having our regular meeting September 10th, but we’ve also found a CCW class you may be interested in. Event location is the Mesquite Veteran’s Center at 840 Hafen, and provides a one-day qualification for classroom and live-fire in our City, here in Mesquite -location TBD by instructor. Disclaimer: Club membership has expressed a desire to get their CCW by a show of hands in two meetings. We performed research on three different vendors and set the following criteria to vet the Vendor: Was the vendor “local”, ie, Virgin Valley or Moapa Valley; did they have Positive Reviews that we could verify; What is their CCW Certification and are they Current; when was the last time they qualified to instruct class and what are their specific Qualifications and Experience; Cost and same-day classroom + live fire in the same City, if possible. Thunder Stick was our top contender, a husband and wife team. Owner, Shanan Kelly, worked for LV Metro for many years as a Police Officer and has an impressive resume. MRW is not sponsoring this event.

Monthly Club Meetings

Doors open at 5pm for social and sign in; meeting starts 5:30pm. Guest speakers to follow after reading of the Minutes from the last meeting and a few updates.

Meetings are Open to all Republicans and conservatives and always include our Patriot neighbors that live in Las Vegas, Moapa, Utah, Arizona and beyond.

July and August Meetings: Pursuant to a previous vote, club meetings will “go dark” since many members/ residents move to cooler locations.

July 15 – CCRP Officer Elections in Las Vegas. We have a large group that will be ridesharing and we also have a member who is hosting a remote for this event in Mesquite if you can’t make the drive. Send an email to Mesquiterw@yahoo.com for info on live event or POC for remote. Click here for membership to the CCRP (free) and confirm that at the time of this meeting, you are qualified to vote in this election. Requirements are listed.

September 10th – Guests not firm but we’re looking at two great possibilities that will not involve politics but Mesquite Non-Profit Organizations. They are so fantastic, that we may even add a special event — stay tuned!

December TBD – More info to follow for this year’s events to include installation of the 2026 Executive Board and our annual Christmas Party. Due to member demand, an agenda item was called for our May Board Meeting to separate the installation meeting from our Christmas event this year and it has been voted to separate both events.
